I'm a software engineer and company founder. I've started two companies, one of which could be called successful.

I believe in simplicity and readability in code above everything (except in very specific circumstances), and I think LLMs can make a practical difference to how we work but the hype needs to pass first so we can assess the pros and cons honestly. That said I still like to write code with my own two hands as often as is practical so I don't forget how to.

Right now that's taking me a little longer than usual as I finally take the neovim plunge.
